All of the Scandinavian style self catering holiday lodges are individually owned, and individually furnished, but all are comfortable, well equipped, with central heating for year round use. There are "pets welcome" as well as "pet-free" lodges.

There are four types of accommodation; all equipped for the freedom of self-catering and our prices include bedlinen, towels and heating. All lodges have a minimum of Freeview TV & DVD, dishwashers, some have satellite. Not all lodges have all of these - please ask on booking. Type A lodge

Two storey lodges sleeping up to 6 or 8, with two double or twin bedrooms, one with en-suite toilet and wash basin. Large upstairs open plan bedroom, sleeping up to four. There are a small number of modified Type A lodges which sleep 6, and have two private bedrooms and at least one bathroom upstairs. All A types also have a house bathroom downstairs; large living and dining space with galley style kitchen, upstairs and downstairs decks with views over the loch, the golf course or over the Solway Firth to the hills and mountains of the Lake District.

Type B Lodge

Similar in layout to type A, on two storeys with outside decks, but with one double and one single bedroom; smaller bedroom sleeping two and one house bathroom.

Type C lodge

Single storey lodge with two double or twin bedrooms and a smaller bedroom with bunks or two single beds, house bathroom, kitchen, and open plan dining and living area which opens onto a small verandah.

Barend Farm Cottage

A single storey cottage with level entry. It has one double bedroom, a bathroom and a shower room; a small but fully equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher and a fridge freezer; a living room and a dining room, large decks, and the best views at Barend.
